REVERSING (Fig.3)
Prior to operation in drilling or hammer drilling mode, al-
ways check the direction of rotation.
The extreme position of lever (7) to the left is equivalent
to clockwise rotation, the extreme position to the right - to
anti-clockwise rotation.
The reversing switch (7) cannot be actuated if the ON/
OFF switch (9) is pressed.
WARNING: Reversing can be performed only
when the spindle is not rotating! Otherwise this might
cause damage to the motor.
OPERATION MODE SELECTION
Switching between the operation modes shall be per-
formed only when the machine is turned off.
Press the release button (6) and turn the mode selector
switch (11) to the necessary position.
▪ Drilling (Fig.4) - drilling in metal, wood, plastics, etc.
▪ Hammer drilling (Fig.5) - hammer drilling in con-
crete, stone, etc.
▪ Hammer mode (Fig.6) - chiselling grooves and de-
molishing in concrete, masonry, etc.
▪ Adjusting the chisel (Fig.7) - to avoid operator's fa-
tigue, insert and fix the chisel in the necessary posi-
tion.
INSERTING AND FASTENING SDS-PLUS
BITS
Clean and grease the shank of the accessory, before
placing it into the socket! (Fig.8)
Insert the bit into the socket (4). Ensure that the socket
grooves correspond to the bit shank channels, and then
press the bit inward until an audible "click" is heard.
(Fig. 9)
To remove the bit, pull the sleeve (3) backward, and then
take the bit out. (Fig.10)
WARNING: Never use bits with diam-eter ex-
ceeding the indicated to avoid over-loading the power
tool.
INSERTING AND FASTENING DRILL BITS
WITH STRAIGHT SHANK INTO THE CHUCK
Insert adapter with chuck (15) into the socket (4) as it is
described above. In this configuration the rotary hammer
can operate in drilling mode.
Place mode selection switch (11) in position «drilling»
(Fig.4).
For keyed chuck
By turning the collar of chuck clockwise or anti-clockwise
the jaws move to a position ensuring inserting the drill bit
shank. Rotate the collar of the chuck clockwise to tighten
the drill bit shank. Fix the drill bit finally into the chuck by
means of the special chuck key, tightening equally in all
three bores.
For keyless chuck
Grip the back collar and rotate the front collar until the

chuck is opened sufficiently for the tool to be inserted,
and then tighten the front collar. An audible "click" indi-
cates that the chuck has locked.
ADJUSTING THE CHISEL POSITION
Insert the chisel into the socket as it is described in sec-
tion "Inserting SDS-Plus bits".
Turn the operating mode switch (11) in position «Adjust-
ing the chisel» (Fig.7).
Rotate the tool by hand to the desired position (Fig.11).
Turn the operating mode switch (11) to position «Ham-
mer» (Fig.6), and then turn the tool slightly by hand left
and right until locked.
Longer operation life of the rotary hammer and higher ef-
ficiency can be achieved only with well sharpened tools
for demolition and chiseling.
WARNING: The operation mode selector
switch (11) must be in "hammer" position when chis-
elling!
SCREWING / UNSCREWING BOLTS,
SCREWS AND NUTS
Following the above-described procedure, tighten the
corresponding accessory into chuck (15). Set mode se-
lector switch (11) to position «Drilling» (Fig.4). Select the
necessary rotation direction by switch (7). These opera-
tions must be performed only at low speed.
WARNING: Never use bits with diameter ex-
ceeding the indicated to avoid over-loading the power
tool.
AUXILIARY HANDLE
Always use the auxiliary handle. Loosen the handle
by rotating it leftwise. Turn the handle to the most con-
venient position for operation, and then tighten it. Do not
carry the machine by the auxiliary handle if the handle
is loose. The drilling depth can be adjusted by the depth
gauge (5). Depth gauge (5) is fixed with screw (18).
PLATE FOR HANGING
The rotary hammer can be attached via carabiner (not
supplied with the machine) with diameter up to 8 mm to
the plate (14).
TORQUE LIMITATION
The safety clutch limits the torque. Upon actuating the
safety clutch stops the spindle rotation and the tool (drill
bit) ceases to rotate. In this case switch the machine off
immediately to avoid premature wear.
RECOMENDATIONS FOR OPERATION
Apply moderate pressure during drilling in concrete (ap-
proximately 80-100 N). Higher pressure will not increase
drilling efficiency, but it will result in decreasing the op-
eration life of the machine.
