The sensor is clicked onto the actuator.
• An actuator is the switching component that performs the
action requested by the connected sensor, such as switching
the light, or converts this action into a Nikobus telegram
and sends it on the bus. The actuator is equipped with a
built-in control: a telegram is only sent if the bus is free. In
the event of a conflict on the bus, the telegram is resent.
This component is located behind the sensor in the flush-
mounting box and provides the connection between the
sensor and the Nikobus home automation system.
