Using the T10 driver, replace and tighten the four screws
A to 120 cNm, the screws can be replaced in any order.
For security, dealers may wish to attach their own
anti-tamper labels so that they can determine if the unit
is subsequently opened.

7 Testing
Visually inspect the gaiter's position, ensuring that it sits
down evenly, with no folds or wrinkles in it.
Test the joystick movement by moving the joystick in a
circular motion about its full extent. It must move freely in
all directions and consistently return to the centre, neutral
position when released from any position.
Connect to a system. Check for any out-of-neutral at power
A and B
up or other faults.
Use the remote module to drive a wheelchair, ensuring that
the wheelchair drives and stops correctly, the joystick returns
to neutral and that, after a short while, the park brakes
engage (usually indicated by an audible click).

Replace the joystick knob A. If necessary, and before
placing it on the shaft, rotate the knob to align the ribs
B with the notches C. Push the knob firmly towards the
body of the remote module – when fitted correctly, the
knob should not be able to be rotated about the shaft.
