A
The emission of vibration during actual use of the power tool
can differ from the value reported by the methods of use of
the tool.
It is necessary to identify safety measures to protect the ope-
rator that are based on an estimation of exposure in the actual
conditions of use (taking into account all the components of
the operating cycle such as downtime of the tool and opera-
tion break, in addition to the trigger time).
2. Charging of the battery of your shrub shears or
lawn shears :
• Do not charge the device outside. Charger may be used only
in dry rooms.
• Use only the original Outils WOLF charger delivered with the
device. Keep the cable away of the blades.
• The device may not be charged while in operation.
• In order to unplug the cable, pull out the plug. Pulling
on the cable could damage cable as well as plug and
electrical safety could not be guaranteed.
• Never use the charger if cable, plug or the device itself, are
visibly damaged. Bring the charger to your nearest official
Outils WOLF Repairer.
• Under no circumstances you should open the charger. In
case of a malfunction take the device to your official Outils
WOLF repairer.
• In case of misuse, a liquid can run out of the battery. Avoid
any contact with this liquid. In the event of contact with the
eyes consult a doctor. The liquid which run out of the battery
can cause irritation of the skin or burns.
Risk of fire! Don't charge battery in an environment which
acids or easily flammable materials. During the procedure of
load , don't turn on the battery shears. Charge only the battery
with a temperature between 10 and 45 °C. When the battery
was strongly requested, start by letting it cool.
• Risk of explosion! Protect battery shear from heat and fire. Do
not put the battery on radiators and do not put it at a too long
time with a strong radiation of the sun. Use the battery shears
only if ambient temperature is between –10° C and +45°C.
3. When trimming:
• Only turn the motor on when hands and feet are not in the
vicinity of the cutting head. During the work, always hold the
shrub shears or lawn shears in such a way that you can not
enter in contact with the blade.
• The device may not be charged while in operation.
• Even when the battery is empty an injury hazard still remains
through a residual charge.
• The switching mechanisms installed on the device may not
be removed or bypassed, for example blinding the handle or
taping down the safety button.
• Always wear suitable work clothes, no loose clothes that
could be snagged by the cutting tool. Wear sturdy shoes with
good tread. Also protect your legs (for example by wearing
long pants), and your hands (gloves) wear protective goggles.
4. After cutting:
• Maintenance and cleaning work on the device may only be
executed when the motor is not running and after
checking of the on/off switch, which has to be lock, by the
safety system.
• Clean and lubricate the blades (with vaseline) after each
cutting.
• Repairs to the device may only be carried out by your Outils
WOLF authorized repair centres.
• Chargers that have become wet may not be plugged into an
electrical outlet until they are dry. You may not recharge the
device when have become wet.
• The device should be charged after each trimming (only in a
dry room). The charging time for a completely
discharged battery is between 6 and 10 hours.
• Always store the shrub shears or lawn shears in a dry room
out of the reach of children in such a way that the cutting head
is protected.
5. Dispose of batteries in an environmentally res-
ponsible manner:
• Outils WOLF battery packs contains lithium and do not be
drop in the nature or incinerated with other household gar-
bage. The dispose of batteries is regulated in some countries,
but Outils WOLF would like to encourage environmentally
friendly consumer attitudes. Working together with you,
WOLF dealers guarantee the acceptance and recycling of
used batteries.
6. Responsibility:
• If you do not use the device in accordance with the
relevant state of technology and the utilization purpose / area
of application, Outils WOLF declines all responsibility.
• You may not do modifications on your rechargeable
battery shrub shears or lawn shears without Outils WOLF
agreement. All modification non-authorized by Outils
WOLF should transform the device in a dangerous
one and going to lead serious injuries during its utili-
zation. Read completely this instruction manual for
the use and the maintenance of the device.
7. Identification of the device :
• Identification number of your rechargeable battery
shrub shears or lawn shears is located on the label stuck
on device.
• Indicate this number to the authorized repair centres
when he does an intervention on the device.
