7.3 Programming the RF remote
transmitter
Description of the Radio Frequency (RF) remote transmitter

To use the remote transmitter,
the DipSwitch_2_SW8
on the SASIC board must be in the ON
position.
The timed openings
are those set on the SASIC central unit,
either by dipswitch or PC.
When a door is locked by a control panel or
by the remote transmitter,
it may be opened either by an external
reader,
or by the remote transmitter.
If large distance is a problem,
connect a remote aerial (Ref. SEA433).

2-door Control Unit
1. Programming channel 1 (L1)
- Press the RF button once (see the positio-
non the wiring diagram on page 33) until
the warning light L1 lights up.
- Release the RF button.
- Press the key 1 on each emitter to be pro-
grammed.
- After a few moments, the warning light L1
goes off and the programming is complete.
2. Programming channel 2 (L2)
- Press the RF button once until the warning
light L1 comes on.
- Release the RF button then press it again
until the warning light L2 comes on.
- Press the key 2 on each emitter to be pro-
grammed.
- After a few moments, the warning light L2
goes off and the programming is complete.
3. Programming channel 3 (L3)
- Press and release the RF button until the
warning light L3 comes on.
- Release the RF button.
- Press the key 3 on each emitter to be pro-
grammed.
- After a few mo ments, the warning light L3
goes off and the programming is complete.
4. Programming channel 4 (L4)
- Press and release the RF button until the
warning light L4 comes on.
- Release the RF button.
- Press the key 3 on each emitter to be pro-
grammed.
- After a few moments, the warning light L4
goes off and the programming is complete.
Deleting a channel on the RF receiver
- First of all, select the channel you wish to
delete from the receiver. To do so, press
the RF button.
- Next, press the key on the emitter corres-
ponding to the channel number.
The warning lights L3 and L4 flash twice
to confirm deletion. Repeat the same proce-
dure for each of the emitter keys.
