No sound when power LED is on.
No or low input, or faulty speakers. Check if the input is connected. Gently increase the volume level and
check the speakers and speaker connections.
Hum or buzz.
Power supply noise is picked up in the signal path or earth problem. Only use good quality, shielded signal
cables and ensure they are kept away from the power cables and other AC-powered equipment. Use a mains
tester to ensure the mains outlet has a good earth.
Distorted sound.
There is an excessive signal level or damaged signal cables. Only use good quality, shielded signal cables

and protect them from damage.
There is an impedance or load mismatch.

The speaker wires are damaged.
o
The speakers are broken.
o
Sound cuts out.
The signal cables are damaged or the connectors are not properly inserted. Check all cables and connections.
7. Maintenance
Regularly wipe the amplifier with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
Ensure that liquids are not spilled into the enclosure through the ventilation openings.
Contact your HQPower™ dealer if your amplifier needs servicing.
