Installing the suction line

4.1.

Hose connection at the vacuum drying oven VD

With option "Vacuum module with pump", the vacuum module comes with the VP1-VP3 connection kit
(Art. No. 8012-0146), which includes besides an appropriate vacuum hose (soft rubber hose DN 8) all
necessary connection parts to connect the hose and the vacuum pump:
• 2.5 m soft rubber hose DN 8
• Aluminum straining ring DN10/16
• Outer centering ring DN10/16
• Small flange with hose shaft DN16
• 2 hose clamps
Connect the vacuum hose to the vacuum connec-
tion (small flange DN 16) on the unit rear and se-
cure it with a hose clamp.
4.2.

Hose connection at the vacuum drying oven VDL

With option "Vacuum module with pump", the vacuum module comes with the connection kit appropri-
ate for the pump model VP4 (kit Art. no. 8012-0621) or VP5 (kit Art. no. 8012-0622). The kit includes
which besides an appropriate vacuum hose all necessary connection parts to connect the hose and
the vacuum pump.
For mounting the VDL connection kits for VP4 and VP5, please refer to the mounting
instructions Art. no. 7001-0152 coming with the connection kits.
