MATERIALS
A 1 Mainframe.
B 1 L/H Sidearm.
C 1 R/H Sidearm.
D 1 L/H Bent Sidearm.
E 1 R/H Bent Sidearm.
F 4 M10 x 30 x 1.5 Bolts, Lock washers, washers 20 O/D, Chassis inserts.
G 4 M12 x 45 x 1.75 Bolts, 8 washers (25 O/D) and Nyloc Nuts.
H 2 M8 x 40 x 1.25 Bolts, 4 washers (30O/D) Spacers and Nyloc Nuts.
J 2 M10 x 30 x 1.5 Bolts, Lock washers, Flat washers (20O/D)
ZN 1 Neck option.
For use with either
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball, which
dimensionally conforms to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
FITTING
1. Remove plastic rivets and screws on lower edge of bumper. Remove 2 lowest (M8) fixing screws from rear panel
crash beam at points H. Remove adhesive tape on underside of vehicle chassis and underseal on front side of
rear panel.
2. Mount cage nuts (F) in chassis, see sketch.. Mount side arms (lower crash beam fixing) (D & E) to rear
panel using fixings (H)
3. Loosely attach side arms (B & C) to chassis using fixings (F & J).
4. Attach main crossbar to side arms (B & D) and (C & E) using fixings (G).
5. Tighten all fixings to correct torques.
6. Cut bumper as per drawing.
7. Fit chosen neck option.
Recommended torque settings: Grade 8.8 bolts: M8 - 24Nm, M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 130 Nm, M16 -
200 Nm Grade 10.9: M12 – 120Nm, M10 – 70Nm M8- 35Nm
