FITTING
1.
Remove 2 large torx screws from each wheel arch and one bolt located behind wheel arch lining, at bumper tip.
2.
Remove 3 large torx screws from each corner of the bumper (two attaching the bumper to the wheel arch lining).
3.
Remove 3 smaller torx screws from along bottom edge of bumper.
4.
Behind the bumper there is a plastic bracket mechanism which once slid into position allows the bumper to be gently
eased away from the wheel arch. Gently ease bumper free, unclipping any wiring that is attached.
5.
Remove the outer two bolts from each end of the bumper beam and return to the customer.
6.
Loosely attach Side Arms (B) & (C) to the chassis rail studs using fixings (G). Note: it is essential that the mating surfaces
are fully clear of any mastic compound and extrusions.
7.
Loosely attach Side Arm Brackets (D) & (E) to the outer bumper beam holes using fixings (H).
8.
Slide cross bar (A) between the Side Arms and attach loosely using fixings (I).
9.
Attach neck option in position and attach electrical plate (ZP) to centre profile holes.
10. Fully tighten all fixings to their correct torque settings.
11. Finally, reattach the bumper with the required bumper cut.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 35Nm, M10 - 70Nm (Grade 10.9) / M12 - 80Nm, M16 - 200Nm (Grade 8.8)
