Preparation for mounting

Fix the charger to a suitable surface using screws and/or dowels (not included). The charger
can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. Choose the correct screws according to the
mounting surface (e.g. wood, stone, brick or metal).
• Only use the product on a stable surface (e.g. wall or desk). Depending on the surface,
screws and/or dowels may be required.
• Mount the charger in a location that is within range of a mains socket.
• The connection point used for the power adapter (mains socket) must be protected with a
10/16 A fuse at the sub-distribution. An earth leakage circuit breaker must be installed before
this.
• The product may only be mounted when it is disconnected from the power supply. It is not
sufficient just to turn the product off using the on/off switch! Ensure that the power adapter is
not plugged into the mains socket.
• Do not mount the charger too close to fireplaces or other hot areas. Keep the charger away
from wash basins, sinks and other sources of moisture.

Mounting the charger

Pay attention to all the information in the "Meaning of symbols", "Safety
instructions" and "Preparation for mounting" sections to ensure that the
charger is mounted properly and safely.
Ensure that no existing cables or pipes (including water pipes) are damaged
when drilling mounting holes or securing screws.
If you do not want to fix the charger in place, place it on a level, horizontal surface.
You can then move the charger to another position quickly and easily. If you do not
plan to fix the charger in place, proceed to the "Operation" section below.
• Use a pencil to draw a horizontal/aligning centre line on the mounting surface. The line
should be slightly longer than the mounting flaps on either side of the charger.
• Use the charger as a stencil and align the centre of the elongated holes on either side of
the charger with the horizontal line. Mark 2 to 4 positions and drill the necessary number of
mounting holes into the surface.
• Fix the charger in place using screws and align it carefully. Do not overtighten the screws.
Operation
Ensure that the connection specifications for your mobile device comply
with the connection data for the product (see technical data).
Always read the operating instructions for your mobile device.
Do not short-circuit the USB inputs.
• Plug the power adapter into the DC IN 12V low voltage power in socket (5) on the charger.
• Connect the power adapter cable to the socket on the power adapter. Ensure that the plug
is inserted in the correct orientation. Do not use any force. Plug the other end of the power
cable into a standard mains socket.
• Turn on the charger using the ON/OFF button (4). The LED indicator (3) turns on.
• To charge USB devices, connect up to four devices to the USB-A outputs (2) on the charger.
Ensure that the device's specifications are compatible with the charger.
For safety reasons, the charger works with an external power supply of 12 V/DC to
separate USB components and supply voltage components.

Care and cleaning

• You do not need to carry out maintenance work on the product. Under no circumstances
should you service any of the components in the interior of the product, therefore never
open/dismantle it.
• Before cleaning the charger, disconnect it from the power supply by unplugging the power
adapter cable.
• Disconnect the USB cable and any connected mobile devices from the product before
cleaning.
• Do not immerse the product in water.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could
damage the casing or even impair the functioning of the product.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product. Do not press too hard on the housing, as this
can lead to scratch marks.
• Dust can be easily removed using a soft and clean long-haired brush.
