• 2-YEAR WARRANTY
Warranty commitment
o
We undertake to repair this appliance free of charge provided it has been handled
properly and the failure has occured within the warranty period. We repair all de-
fects caused by material or manufacturing faults. The warranty will be undertaken
by means of the repair or replacement of defective parts at our discretion. The war-
ranty does not cover damage due to the natural wear and tear of parts and damage
and defects resulting from incorrect use, handling or maintenance (particularly cal-
cification and commercial use). A claim is only valid under warranty if the warranty
card showing the date of purchase, dealer's stamp and signature or the purchase
receipt is sent together with the appliance to the relevant service centre (see ad-
dress below). Returns are to be made in the original package. The purchaser shall
bear the transport costs. Please do not forget to state your address and, should the
error not be obvious, include an explanation with your return.
Service station:
• 5-YEAR WARRANTY
We grant a 5-year durability guarantee for the high-pressure boiler.

The guarantee is valid without prejudice to the statutory warranty rights and ap-
o
plies exclusively to the boiler and the high-pressure boiler. The warranty period
commences on either the date of the purchase contract or contract for the delivery
of the ROTEL PROFESSIONAL, and is valid for five years. In the case of a guarantee
claim, the purchaser shall be obligated to immediately inform the guarantor in writ-
ing oft he defect, that is to say, without any culpable delay. In the event of a claim,
the purchaser is obliged to inform the guarantor of the defects in writing immedi-
ately, i.e. without undue delay. In the case of a claim covered by the warranty, the
pruchases is entitled to the rectification of this/these defect(s). To assert the claim
under the terms of the warranty, the purchaser must return the steam iron togeth-
er with the warranty card and proof of purchase (sales receipt or purchase contract)
to the respective Rotel customer service centre. The purchaser may not claim com-
pensation for loss of earnings from the seller for the duration of the repair. The pur-
chaser shall bear the transport costs. The warranty card must indicate the date of
purchase and a dealer's stamp. Otherwise the claim cannot be accepted under the
tems of the warranty. Self-inflicted defects or damages are excluded from the war-
ranty. The warranty expressly excludes damages incurred due to incorrect use or
operation, calcification of the boiler, excessive fluctuations in the supply voltage in-
