Characteristic curves

Permissible force F [N] dependent on the contraction h [% of the nominal length]
(nominal length = visible area of the load-free contracting diaphragm)
Note
Deviation of the theoretical force up to 10 %.
The actual force dependent on the contraction can vary according to the following char­
acteristics:
– material
– production variation
– nominal length
The deviation can be compensated if the pressure is adapted up to the maximum per­
missible operating pressure.
