Starting and Stopping

Starting
See that the slide of the suction
head is fully open or the suction
head removed from the grain be-
fore starting the machine.
Adjustment for maximum Capacity
Open the slide on the intake nozzle
fullu and place the end of the intake
nozzle in the grain.
Then slowly turn the slide on the
intake nozzle from the fully open
position towards the closed posi-
tion.
Just before the pointer of the
blower air regulator enters the red
area the suction hesd slide is
correctly adjustted.
The function of the slide is to en-
sure correct balance between air
and grain.
Lock the air regulator of the blower
in starting position before start-up.
Release the pointer when the blow-
er has reached full speed (does
not apply to blowers provided with
air regulators closing automatically
during start-up).
If the slide is open too far, there will
be too much air and too little grain
conveyed.
If the slide is closed too far, there
will be too little air and the grain will
settle in the pipe system, and may
block the pipe system completely.
Stopping
Stop conveying by removing the
intake nozzle from the grain or
open the slide on the intake nozzle
completely. Run blower and pip-
ing system clean - then stop the
blower.
