If a fire chamber temperature of 100°C is not reached
during firing up after 1015 minutes, the electronics
does not evaluate the process as combustion cycle
and closes the combustion air slide valve again (eg.
fire door opens to glass clean).
If a fire chamber temperature of 200°C is not reached
during the combustion cycle, then the electronics rates
the combustion cycle as an abnormal control proce-
dure. The combustion air slide valve remain 100%
open. Only after dropping below 100°C, will the com-
bustion air slide valve close completely in a closing pro-
cedure without any intermediate steps.
If the combustion chamber door is opened during the
combustion cycle or the R button is pressed, then a
new combustion cycle is started.
→ The combustion air slide valve opens completely
once again and the closing process is recalculated.
The fire chamber temperature serves as a command
variable.
Function of the convection air regulation
When the desired room temperature (St) and the
switching hysteresis (SH) are defined, the slide posi-
tion on the convection air output is automatically set.
Factory setting: St = 20°C, SH = 2°C
When the desired room temperature (St) is reached,
the convection air slide valve is opened to 50%. When
the current room temperature is higher than the switch-
ing hysteresis value, the convection air slide valve is
closed to 100%, and when it is lower, the convection air
slide valve is completely open.
Important: The desired room temperature (St) is sim-
ply a reference temperature for the po-
sition of the convection air slide valve. It
does not control the room temperature.
Commissioning
Before changing the factory settings (control curve 5),
we recommend running a few burn-off's using the fac-
tory settings so you have a basis for deciding about any
changes you'd like to make.
For ignition, place the fuel as described in the stove's
instruction.
The opening procedure of the combustion air slide
valve is initiated by opening the combustion chamber
door and putting in the fuel.
If 15 minutes of primary air is insufficient during firing
up, the combustion air slide valve can then be com-
pletely reopened by opening the combustion chamber
door again or by pressing the R button. If this is always
necessary, the control curve 3 should be selected (see
the chapter "Select control curve with submenu tYP").
Attention:
The fire grate must normally be open during heating,
otherwise no primary air can enter into the combustion
chamber.
→ Operating lever of fire grate pulled out.
Fire grate operating lever
If, after the first commissioning, it turns out that you
would like a different room temperature or switch-
ing hysteresis than the factory setting (St = 20°C,
SH = +/2°C), adjust the parameters (see chapter
„Control parameter for convection air").
