Assembly of the Innerbarends®
For the assembly of the Innerbarends® you need a clean cloth, cleaning agent (brake cleaner or cleaning gasoline), assembly paste, a
suitable hex key for clamping the Innerbarends®, the brake and gear levers, and a torque wrench.
The 411 and 411 R Carbon innerbarends are clamped between the grips and the brake clamp, the 410/402 innerbarends are clamped
directly on the grips.
It is best to clean the handlebars with a clean cloth and some cleaning agent (brake cleaner/cleaning gasoline). To mount the Innerba­
rends® 411 and 411 R Carbon, wet the clamping area of the handlebars with the supplied mounting paste.
The SQlab Innerbarends® 410/402 are clamped directly onto the handlebar (710/702), meaning the Innerbarends® replace the clamp
of the grips. Innerbarends® and grips therefore have a common clamping!
The Innerbarends are mounted between brake lever and handlebar grip. The components must therefore be mounted approx. 15 mm
further inside. Make sure the installation space required for the assembly is available.
Warning
When there is not enough space available and components are clamped in a bend or tapered area, sudden component failure can­
not be excluded. If this imminent danger is not avoided, death or extremely serious injuries may be the consequence.
