DO NOT FORGET TO CONNECT THE EARTH
Check for perfect tightness of the cable lead-in in the
switch and motor gland.
A connection error would damage the motors.
Direction of rotation (three-phases motors)
Switch the motor on (brief press on safety switch) and
check that it turns in the direction indicated by the
arrow on the motor head. If it turns the wrong way,
interchange two phase wires on the motor terminal
block.
6. STARTING UP
Never operate the group dry.
6.1.Filling
The pump can be primed only if the casing is
immersed.
- Start the pump, taking care to open those valves
which could be installed on the pipes.
- In permanent operation, allow a minimum flow of

7. MAINTENANCE
No special servicing on operation.
Always keep the pump perfectly clean.
Replacement frequencies
These are necessarily only guidelines, since the
replacement frequency depends on the operating
conditions:
- Load and ambient temperature for the motor and
other components.

a) Check whether the supply current well reaches the motor terminal.
b) Dismantle and replace it.
a) Dismantle and clean.
b) Interchange two phase wires on the motor terminal block.
c) Check the voltage on the terminals of the motor and the cross-sections of the
conductors.
c) Check and open it.
a) Check and open it progressively and fully until pressure is stable.
b) Dismantle the pump and correct what is wrong.
a) Check whether voltage at motor terminals is within standardized limits.
a) Ventilation of system. Protection of system if expoxed to direct sunlight.
b) Check the current with an ammeter, or set to the value marked on the motor data
plate.
c) Check the sections of the conductors of the cable. Check the power supply
d) Check it. Replace the cable if necessary.
