Corrosive Substances
Keep PPE away from corrosive acids, bases, liquids, vapours, gasses etc. If you think damage has
occurred as a result of contact with an aggressive substance:
1) Quarantine the product and label it in an obvious way so that it can not be used by mistake;
2) Send as much information as possible about your concerns to the manufacturer; and
3) Do not use the product again unless the manufacturer replies, in writing, that it may be returned to service.
