11. Functional test

11.1 Control unit

The control unit is functioning properly when the following
light indicators are illuminated:
- The ON / OFF button
- The polarity display
- The selected intensity level
- The remaining therapy time
11.1.1 Functional test via error reporting system
The BEMER complete system is equipped with an automatic
error reporting system. This is designed to function when only
one applicator is connected.
Applicator failure or a bad connection are indicated visually at
the control unit (running lights from levels 1 and 10 towards the
center) and audibly (via a repeated signal).
11.2 Power supply unit operation
When connecting the power supply unit make sure that the op-
erating voltage is correct: INPUT: 100 V – 240 V (do not use higher
voltages). The power supply unit (type: FW7333M/15) guaran-
tees correct function. Before connecting the power supply unit
to the electrical supply it is important to ensure that the electri-
cal supply has the same voltage as the operating voltage indicat-
ed on the power supply unit. The LED at the power supply unit
will light up when properly connected to the electrical supply.
