The fact that the towing bracket has been mounted to the vehicle must be entered in the
vehicle papers at the next possible opportunity. The mounting instructions must be added to
the vehicle papers.
General Installation Intructions:
If present, remove insulating compound and/or underseal in the area of the towing bracket
contact surfaces. Coat bare bodywork with anti-corrosion paint.
Mount 7-pin electrical system as per DINV 72570.
Mount 13-pin electrical system as per ISO 11446.
Retighten all mounting bolts of the towing bracket after aprox. 1000 towing km. Please note,
that after mounting the drawbar the mass of your vehicle will change.
Mounting instructions:
Remove the bumper and remove the mounting consoles from the bumper.

Lower the exhauster.

According to the regulations connect the electric wires by cracking the rear bundle.

Remove the rubber plugs and stripes from the holes „a" of the chassis extension.

Cut out the bumper to the necessary degree if the factory cut-out is missing.

Install the drag hook on the bumper through positions „c".

Slide the drag hook and the bumper into the chassis extension then according to the

drawing loosely fix them through positions „a" and „b" with the attached bonding units.
Adjust the drag hook into mid-position then tighten all the screws.

(The position of the bumper can be adjusted later through positions „c").

Hang on the exhauster.

Only specialised services are authorised to install drawhooks.
