Leak Test

The leak test is necessary to make sure that in the whole analyser suction
circuit there are no air infiltrations, which could alter the gas analysis result.
•
Install the
(see chapter 2.0) in the leak test port ( 49 ) on the back of the analyser.
•
Select the
(see chapter 4.1).
The analyser takes about 30 seconds to evaluate the perfect tightness of the
whole circuit by means of an electronic vacuum sensor.
In case no leakage is detected, the LEAK TEST CORRECT message is
displayed.
On the contrary, if a leakage is detected, the LEAK TEST INCORRECT
message is displayed.
At this point it is possible to carry out a second leak test.
•
Fit the leak test cap ( 49 ) directly into the gas inlet port ( 51 ).
In case no leakage is detected, the LEAK TEST CORRECT message is
displayed.
In such a case check the gas sampling device conditions in order to
eliminate the external leakage.
On the contrary, if a leakage is detected, the LEAK TEST INCORRECT
message is displayed.
In case even after the second leakage test the LEAK TEST INCORRECT
message is displayed, go on according to the following instruction.
