STANDARD TEST ________________________________________________________________________ STARGAS
To carry out settings (in case they differ from those of default) follow the
instructions below:
•
Select the type of revolution cable used to carry out the test and press
ENTER to enable it. The enabling is highlighted by a x in the box aside.
•
Select the engine times of the tested engine (2 or 4 times) and press
ENTER to enable it. The enabling is highlighted by a x in the box aside
(to be set only in case the induction clamp is used).
•
Select the icon (126) and press many times the ENTER key until
displaying the number of cylinders of the tested vehicle (to be set only in
case the battery cable is used).
To calibrate the rpm (only in case the battery cable is used) follow
instructions below:
•
Select the SETTINGS page and connect the revolution cable from the
battery (see chapter 3.3).
•
The light on the SETTINGS page is usually red (no calibration
performed), while when the tool starts calibration it turns yellow.
•
At the end of calibration the light becomes green and the RPM box
indicates the revolution number.
•
If at the end of automatic calibration the value is not correct, select icon
(125) to carry out a second calibration.
NOTA BENE:
To carry out a correct measure of the rpm number refer to the use of the
rpm counter (see chapter 3.3).
•
Select the CONFIRMATION function (127) to store the new settings
and quit the SETTINGS page.
•
Select the EXIT function (128) to quit the SETTINGS page without
storing the new settings.
