IV. GETTING STARTED
ATTENTION – HEAVY MACHINE!
We recommend that 2 people participate in the unpacking and assembly of the machine.
4.1- Unpacking
- Remove product from its packaging.
- Check that machine and accessories are not missing or damaged.
- If you find any part missing or damaged, do not operate the machine until the part
has been replaced or the fault has been rectified.
Failure to do so could result in serious personal injury.
4.2- Content
The unit package contains – see Fig.2.
4.3- Assembly
The machine requires assembly prior to first time use.
CAUTION! Some parts are heavy, to avoid injury, we recommend two persons to perform parts lift and
assembly.
Wear protective gloves.
4.3.1- Wheels and axle assembly
1. Slide one wheel (H) with
valve stem (a) facing
outwards onto the axle (J).
Note: Slide the first wheel
on the circlip's side of the
axle (J).
Note: By tightening the wing bolt on the axle frame, the axle (J) will be held in position and allow the wheel
nuts to be tightened fully.
5. Check and maintain tire pressure [see specs in table 1].
4.3.2- Transport Handle
1. Place the transport handle (D) on the base frame (A).
Align the holes in the handle (D) and the base frame (A).
2. To secure, place the wheel
washer (b) and nut (c) onto the
axle [for mod. 196cc] or put the
screw [for mod. 389cc].
Tighten the nut (c) or screw
(depending on model).
IMPORTANT: at this stage
ONLY assemble one wheel (H).
3. Slide the axle through
the hole in the base frame
(A) and out the other side.
Note: The circlip on the
axle (J) will prevent the
wheel (H) touching the
base frame (A).
2. Use fasteners (E), insert FROM THE TOP
each bolt (d) with washer (b).
Secure in place with nut (c).
4. Mount the second
wheel (H) on the
protruding end of the axle
(J) and secure in place
with the wheel washer (b)
and nut (c) [mod. 196cc]
or the screw [mod. 389cc].
Tighten the nut or screw.
