2. Select a suitable mixing container: The large mixing container for blending milk-
shakes, fruit juices and vegetable juices, or the grinder attachment for grinding and
chopping up herbs, nuts etc.
Use With Mixing Container
1. Place the mixing container onto the motor unit and lock it into place by turning it
clockwise.
2. If you have not already done so, screw the tap onto the mixing container.
3. Remove the lid from the mixing container.
4. Place your ingredients into the mixing container.
5. Close the lid. TIP: To add further ingredients during operation, the insert in the lid can
be removed.
6. If you want to give your ingredients a stir during operation, remove the insert in the
lid and replace it with the insert for the stirrer and then place the stirrer into the insert
(see the "Items Supplied and Device Overview" chapter). CAUTION: Never use the
stirrer without the corresponding insert!
7. Select a speed setting 1-4 or the PULSE button by pressing the appropriate button.
If you have selected one of the buttons 1-4, the device operates continuously; if you
have selected the PULSE button, the device operates at pulsed intervals. The speed
settings 1 and 2 are very suitable for blending, whipping and chopping up softer
foodstuffs (berries, herbs, fruit etc.) and the speed settings 3 and 4 are suitable for
mincing, chopping up and grinding harder foodstuffs (e.g. nuts, coffee etc.).
8. To switch off the device, press the AUS (off) button.
9. You can now remove your smoothie via the tap: Pull the tap forwards to open it and
pull it back again to close it.
10. To remove the mixing container, turn it anticlockwise and pull it up and off the motor
unit.
Use With Grinder Attachment
1. Pour ingredients into the lid of the grinder attachment. The lid should be at least 1/3
fi lled with food and be fi lled no higher than just below the edge of the container.
2. Place the fl at blade onto the lid and screw it clockwise to tighten it.
3. Place the grinder attachment onto the motor unit and lock it into place by turning it
clockwise.
4. Select a speed setting 1-4 or the PULSE button by pressing the appropriate button.
