3.3 Hearth and Mantel Clearances
The following drawings show the hearth and mantel clearances
allowed for the CLW-50 and BHM-44 with no surround or optional
surrounds installed (if applicable). Follow the drawings for the
minimum distance needed between the hearth and mantel when
installing an optional surround to allow for proper servicing
clearances.

measuring from the finishing edge, to allow installation of any
optional surround. Most finishing material will not fit behind the
optional surround(s) when it is installed.
