4 Get started

Connect the baby unit to
power
You can connect the baby unit to a power
supply or insert non-rechargeable batteries to
operate it. Insert non-rechargeable batteries
to guarantee an automatic backup in case of
power supply failure.

Before you connect the baby unit to
a power supply, remove the lid of the
battery compartment.

Insert four non-rechargeable 1.5V R6 AA
batteries with the correct polarity (+/-) as
indicated.

Reattach the lid.

Connect a supplied adapter to the baby
unit and to a power supply.

Charge the parent unit

Note
•
Make sure that the parent unit is disconnected
from the power supply and turned off.

Remove the lid of the battery
compartment.

Insert the supplied rechargeable battery
pack with the correct polarity (+/-) as
indicated.

Reattach the lid.

Connect a supplied adapter to the parent
unit and to a power supply to start
charging.
Tip
•
The battery pack only reaches the full capacity
after you charge it for four times.
• For the first 4 times, the charging time is 10 hours,
and the operating time is less than 24 hours.
•
The normal charging time is 8 hours, and the
normal operating time is 24 hours.
•
The battery indicator flashes red and a beep
occurs 30 minutes before the battery pack
runs out of power.
