5 Mounting
5.1 Mounting the product
The product must be installed according to the installation instructions of the
manufacturer of the probe in the factory of the manufacturer of the tank. After
completion of the installation of the product, an expert of the manufacturer of
the tank must verify proper mounting and correct function and operation.
The proper function of the product must be certified; the certificate has to be
handed over to the owner/operator.

1. Mount the product in such
a way that the float body is
as close as possible to the
tank bottom (D).
2. Mount the product (A) ver-
tically. The float must
point upwards.
When the product is sub-
merged in liquid, the alarm
setting of the rod in the hood
must be visible after an
immersion depth of no more
than 12 cm.

is fully visible.
