Preparing and Loading the Dishware
Loading the Vario Top Basket
Figure 1 shows a typical mixed load for the top
basket.
When the top basket is loaded, push it into the
dishwasher.
NOTE : When pushing the top basket into the
dishwasher, push it until it stops against the back
of the tub so the top basket spray arm will connect
to the water supply.
Vario Top Basket Accessories
Adjustable Tines
Adjustable Tines fold down to make loading the
baskets easier in some instances.
Grasp the
tines as
shown in
Figure 2
and fold
the tines
downward.

Height Adjustable Top Basket
The top basket can be lowered to accommodate
large items in the top basket, and raised to make
room for large items in the lower basket.
To lower the top basket:
1. Pull the top
basket out of
the dishwasher
until it stops
rolling.
2. Press the
Height
adjustable
top basket
handles
inward as
shown in Figure 3 and let the basket drop.
To raise the top basket:
1. Pull the top basket out of the dishwasher until
it stops
rolling.
2. Grasp the top
of the basket
above the
Height
adjustable
top basket
handles and
pull it upward
as shown in
Figure 4
until the Height
adjustable top basket handles lock the
basket into position (you do not need to
press the Height adjustable top basket
handles in order raise the basket).
NOTE: Before you push the top basket back
into the dishwasher, ensure that the basket
height is the same on both sides. Otherwise,
the dishwasher door will not shut and the top
basket spray arm will not connect to the
water circuit.
3. Push the top basket back into the
dishwasher.
