How to Cancel and Reset AVS Function
1) AVS Function Cancel
Press the On/O , Mode and Fan Speed Button about 3 seconds during which Buzzer will sound for
1 times.
AVS Function will be Cancelled.
2) AVS Function Reset
Press the On/O , Mode and Fan Speed Button about 3 seconds during which Buzzer will sound for
2 times and operation AVS display will ash 3 times. And then the AVS Function will be Set.

When the voltage of the electric current is either
below 182V or above 281V, the AVS kicks in and
shuts down the exterior unit to protect the
compressor from breaking down.
Compressor is the most expensive and important
component of an air conditioner, and LG AVS
prevents the compressor from damage caused by
drop in voltage, LG's AVS will automatically check
the voltage continuously, and will automatically
turn your AC on when the voltage fall back within
the safe range.
