11.2 RET-MAINTENANCE
When connecting to an MDCU that is not inserted into an antenna, a RET with the name "RET-
MAINTENANCE00" is showed in your list of devices. This mode allows for a reprogram/reconfigure
exercise without needing to have access to the antenna.
When you see the "RET-MAINTENANCE00" message from an MDCU already installed in the
antenna, please execute the following process of elimination:

Disconnect the AISG cable

Loosen the screws and remove the MDCU from its socket

Check for anything that might be preventing a good connection
-
Re-insert the MDCU back into the antenna

Reconnect the AISG cable
-
Execute a scan
If RET-MAINTENANTCE00 is still present after the rescan, try replacing the MDCU after configuring it
correctly

11.3 DEVICE NOT FOUND
If you get this message: "DEVICE NOT FOUND" on your BTS apply this process:

Connect directly an AISG controller (type ALC ) without TMA/RRH in the RF path ...
-
Execute a scan:
o If your antenna works correctly check your AISG cable and any other devices in the
RF path.
o If you have the same message, try to replace the MDCU after reprogramming
