The RET has not been configured in production. It has
to be returned

Swap the RET/MDCU
•
Return the faulty RET to Amphenol
•
In order to fully insert a RET/MDCU, follow these
steps:
o Disconnect the AISG cable from the
RET/MDCU
o Insert the RET/MDCU into the antenna
o Fasten the screws securing the RET/MDCU
o Connect the AISG cable to the RET/MDCU
•
Change the configuration data file (available on
our website).
o Note: not all BTS equipment offers the
option to change the configuration data
file. In this event, the RET/MDCU needs to
be returned to Amphenol
•
Check the values that have been requested.
•
If the requested values seem to be correct and
within the configured range, swap the RET/MDCU
and return the faulty RET/MDCUto Amphenol
•
