. Be sure the engine oil, engine oil storage containers,
and engine oil filling equipment are free of sediments
and water.
2. Change the engine oil after the first 50 hours of operation
and then at every 200 hours thereafter.
3. Select the oil viscosity based on the ambient temperature
where the engine is being operated. See SaE Service
grade viscosity Chart.
4. yanmar does not recommend the use of engine oil
"additives".

viscosity Chart.

TO FILL WITH OIL:
. Make sure engine is level.
2. remove oil cap/dipstick from either location and wipe
with clean cloth.
3. add indicated amount of engine oil at either one of the
engine oil filler ports.
4. Wait one minute and check oil level.
5. add more oil if necessary.
6. Fully reinsert oil cap/dipstick and hand tighten. Over-
tightening the oil cap/dipstick will damage it.
