5. Press the MODE key to display "DC" on screen.
6. Remove power from the circuit to be tested, then open the circuit
at the point where you wish to measure the current.
7. Apply the test probes to the points of the circuit to be tested.
8. Apply power to the circuit.
9. Current measured is displayed on screen.

3.4 AC current measurements (frequency, duty cycle)

Do not make 20 A current measurements for longer than 30 s.
Exceeding 30 seconds may cause damage to the multimeter
and/or the test leads.
1. Insert the black test lead banana plug into the
negative COM terminal.
2. For current measurements up to 6000µA AC, set
the function switch to the µA position and insert
the red test lead banana plug into the µA/mA
terminal.
3. For current measurements up to 600mA AC, set
the function switch to the mA position and insert
the red test lead banana plug into the µA/mA
terminal.
4. For current measurements up to 20A AC, set the
function switch to the 10A position and insert the
red test lead banana plug into the 10A terminal.
5. Press the MODE key to display "AC" on screen.
6. Remove power from the circuit to be tested, then open the circuit
at the point where you wish to measure the current.
7. Apply test probes to the points of the circuit to be tested.
8. Apply power to the circuit.
9. Read the current in the display.
10. Press the Hz% key to display "Hz".
11. Frequency measured is displayed on screen.
12. Press the Hz% key again to indicate "%".
13. Duty cycle is displayed in percentage.
14. Press the Hz% key to return to current measurement.

3.5 Resistance measurements

To avoid any risk of deterioration, remove power from the
circuit to be tested before making resistance measurements.
