The DUOMAT 1200 Comfort measures the temperature electronically and
regulates the substrate and water heaters in an aquarium automatically.
Safety notes
• Should be mounted where contact with water is impossible!
• The mains plug should always be accessible after installation.
• The unit should only be used in rooms with average cleanliness.
• The unit should be kept cool. Do not cover up.
• All cables leading out of the aquarium and the mains cables should have a drip loop, so that

• IMPORTANT: Before commencing any maintenance work, all appliances in
the aquarium should be switched off or the mains cable plugs pulled out.
• Should the connecting cable of the unit be damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, his after-sales service or by a person with similar
qualifications, to avoid possible hazards.
1 Installation
1.1
Wall mounting 1
Securely fasten the mounting bracket of the DUOMAT to a vertical wall. Contact with
water should be impossible! Push the DUOMAT sideways onto the mounting bracket.
The unit locks into place.
For removing the DUOMAT, insert a screw driver between mounting rail and DUOMAT,
twist it slightly and pull the unit off.
1.2
Installing the temperature sensor 2
Using the suction cups, attach the temperature sensor inside the aquarium below the water
surface. As the temperature is always to be measured in the aquarium water, make sure the
sensor cannot slide out of the water. Select a position with good water circulation.
