20. Check the power tool for any
damage
– Before continuing to use the
power tool, examine protective
mechanisms and lightly damaged
parts carefully for perfect and
proper functioning.
– Check whether the moving parts
function with no difficulties and do
not jam and check whether parts
are damaged. All parts must be
mounted correctly and meet all
requirements in order to ensure
perfect operation of the power tool.
– Damaged protective mechanisms
and parts must be repaired or
replaced properly by an author-
ised specialist workshop if no
other course of action is specified
in the operating instructions.
– Damaged switches must be
replaced by a customer service
workshop.
– Do not use power tools which
cannot be switched on and off
using the switch.
– If connection cables are dam-
aged, they must – in order to
reduce the risks – be replaced by
the manufacturer or by their cus-
tomer service representative.
– Connection method in which
the connection cable can be
replaced easily with a special
cable, for example with a cable
with a moulded flexible sleeve or
crimped connections without the
need for special tools.

22. Have your power tool repaired by
an electrician
– This power tool meets current
safety requirements. Repairs may

only be carried out by an electri-
cian using original replacement
parts, otherwise this may pose an
accident risk to the operator.
– The plug or the connection cable
may only be replaced by the
manufacturer of the power tool or
its customer service.
– Keep water away from electrical
parts of the power tool and per-
sons in the work area.
6 – Safety instructions relat-
ing specifically to the
equipment
• Wear protective goggles and gloves
and, if necessary, ear protectors and
breathing mask.
• Always fix the tool down securely on
an even surface, if necessary, using
clamping fixtures.
• Never feed the work-piece to be
ma chined to the tool by hand! Use for
this either a small piece of wood or the
plas tic guide block supplied with the
tool.
• Never use cracked or segmented saw
blades.
• Before starting work always check the
water level in the cooling water reservoir
and, if necessary, fill or top it up with
water. If cutting for longer periods,
check the water level from time to time.
• Before starting work allow the cutting
wheel to reach the required speed.
• After switching off wait for the cutting
wheel to stop rotating. NEVER TRY
TO BRAKE IT!
