OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The grinder has two grinding wheels (wet and dry) that
allow to grind metals, plastics and other materials. The
appliance should not be operated continuously but
intermittently to allow cooling. The duty cycle is S2 30,
which means that you may operate the motor
continuously at its rated power level (250W) for no
longer than the time stipulated on the technical data
(30 min). If you fail to observe this time limit, the motor
will overheat. During the OFF period the motor will cool
again to its starting temperature.
When using the bench grinder, it must consider some
procedures of use in order to avoid accidents:
▪ Never use the bench grinder without the eye shield
fitted (8). Flying material can cause serious injury to
your eyes or set fire to nearby objects;
▪ Regularly check the distance between the tool rest
(10) and the eye shield (8) to the grinding wheel (9)
and readjust if necessary. The distance should never
be more than 2 mm. If the distance is greater, it is no
longer protected against the material ejection.
▪ Hold the workpiece firmly in order to prevent it from
being dragged or repelled by the grinding wheel. The
workpiece can be dragged by the rotation of the
grinding wheel and cause serious injury.
▪ Allow grinder to reach full speed before contacting
the workpiece to the grinding wheel. Before turning
off the grinder, lift up the workpiece;
▪ Never touch the grinding wheel with your hands
while it is rotating. Contact can cause serious injury;
▪ Do not stop the grinding wheel's rotation by applying
side pressure. The workpiece can slip away from the
hands due to rotating movement and cause injury;
▪ Keep your workplace clean. Material mixtures are
especially dangerous. Light metal powder can burn or
explode;
Never grind magnesium objects.

Starting and stopping the bench grinder
1. Before switching on the bench grinder, ensure that
the grinding wheels rotate freely;
2. Stand beside the grinder before switching on, do not
stand in front of it;
3. To switch the grinder on, set the "ON/OFF" switch (1)
to position (I);
4. Allow the wheel to rotate freely for 1 minute, and
confirm if it is rotating properly;
5. When the bench grinder reaches its maximum speed,
you can start grinding;
6. Do not use the appliance without the guards/eye
shields fitted;
7. To switch off the bench grinder, set the "ON/OFF"
switch to position (0);
Use instructions
For finer grinding, we recommend the use of the fine
80-grit grinding wheel (5). For coarser grinding, we
recommend the use of medium 36-grit grinding wheel
(9).
Dry grinding wheel:
1. Place the workpiece on the tool rest (10) and slowly
move it towards the desired angle until it touches the
grinding wheel;
2. Move the workpiece slightly from one side to the
other for optimal grinding. This way, the grinding
wheel wears out evenly;
3. Let the workpiece cool down for a moment;
Wet grinding wheel:
1. Make sure the drain plug (3) is in place;
2. Pour water into the tank (4), until about 1/3 of the
grinding wheel is covered;
3. Hold the workpiece/object with both hands when
touching the grinding wheel.;
4. You can also use the notches on the water tank cover;
5. Move the workpiece slightly from one side to the
other for optimal grinding. This way, the grinding
wheel wears out evenly;
6. Let the workpiece cool down for a moment;
If the grinding wheel jams, remove the workpiece and
wait until the grinding wheel has reached maximum
rotation speed again.
Protect the grinding wheel from kickbacks, bumps and
grease.
