GENERAL SAFETY AND USE INSTRUCTIONS
When using power tools, you should take into
account basic safety precautions to avoid the risk
of fire, electric shock and personal injury.
Always
read
maintenance instructions before you start
operating your power tool. Keep the instruction manual
for future reference.
General
It is your responsibility to follow these preventive
measures in order to ensure your own safety. Always
operate the bench grinder carefully and responsibly. In
using the appliance, you accept full responsibility for
any accidents caused to third parties or their goods
during its use.
The power tool may only be used by people who have
read the instruction manual and are familiar with its
handling. Before operating the bench grinder for the
first time, users should be instructed by the seller or any
other qualified person on how to use it. Users must
ensure they are instructed adequately and practically.
The instruction manual is considered an integral part of
the bench grinder and must always be made available
alongside the product.
Familiarize yourself with the control devices and usage
of the power tool. In particular, the user must know how
to quickly stop the appliance.
Stay alert and use common sense while working with a
power tool. A moment of inattention can result in
serious injury.
Do not use the bench grinder if you are not both
physically and mentally well. Do not use it while you are
tired or under the influence of medication, drugs or
alcohol. If you have a health problem, ask your doctor if
it is safe for you to use the bench grinder before doing
so.
Never allow the bench grinder to be used by children,
individuals with limited physical, sensory or mental
abilities, individuals with lack of experience and
knowledge of the bench grinder, or others unfamiliar
with the use instructions.

The bench grinder may only be used as stated in
this instruction manual. Any other use, which may
be dangerous and may cause injury to the user or
damage to the power tool, is not permitted.
Do not overload the power tool and use the appropriate

work tools. The use of the power tool for purposes
other than those intended and the improper use of
accessories can result in hazardous situations.
For safety reasons, any alteration to the bench grinder
other than installing accessories specifically authorized
by the manufacturer, is prohibited. The warranty on
your bench grinder will be voided if you alter it in any
way.

Electrical safety instructions
Do not use power tools in explosive environments,
such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases
or dust. Power tools create sparks that can ignite
liquids, gases, or dust.
The power supply must match the technical
specifications of the power tool. The power cord
must be plugged into a socket with differential
protection.
The circuit breaker must be set to trip when a fault
current is detected.
Do not expose the power tool to rain or use it in wet or
moist environments. The presence of water in a power
tool increases the risk of damage and electric shock to
the user.
Never use the power cord to pull, carry or unplug the
power tool. Damaged power cords increase the risk of
electric shock.
Keep the power cord and plug away from heat sources,
oil and sharp objects. Check the condition of the power
cord regularly, if it is damaged, it must be replaced or
repaired by a qualified technician.
