Troubleshooting
Malfunctions may occur with any electrical equipment. This is not necessarily due to a device defect. As such,
you should check the following table to see if you can eliminate the problem yourself.
Malfunction
Device does not turn on
No sound
CD playback does not start
USB playback does not start
No Bluetooth connection, or Blue-
tooth connection interrupted

Properly connect the AC adapter
with universal adapter (see

power supply' on page 58).
Increase the volume (see
Ä Chapter 10.1 'Setting the
volume' on page 65).
Switch on the sound (see
Ä Chapter 10.2 'Muting the audio
playback' on page 66).
Pull the headphones out of the
jack.
Set the correct mode (see
Ä Chapter 10.3 'Selecting a play-
back mode' on page 66).
Insert a different CD into the CD
slot.
Clean the CD.
Insert a different CD into the CD
slot.
Eject the CD and insert it correctly
into the CD slot.
Insert the USB device into the port
on the back of the device (see
Ä Chapter 15 'USB playback'
on page 70).
Check whether your USB device is
compatible with the radio.
Check the files on your USB device.
Increase the distance between the
radio and your television.
Make sure that your external Blue-
tooth device has the latest software
version installed.
Switch the device off and on again.
Change the position of the FM/DAB
antenna.
Reduce the distance between the
remote control and the device.
Replace the battery in the remote
control (see
Ä Chapter 7.5 'Pre-
paring the remote control'
on page 58).
