5. TROUBLESHOOTING
• The light is not on.
- Is 230V present at the ECG?
- No: is 230V present between terminals L' and N?
- No: Check the 230V wiring between 05-711 and the load.
- Yes: is 230V present between L and N?
- No: Check the 230V wiring between the mains and 05-711.
- Yes: Check the operation.
- Yes: Check the load.
• The light switches on/off but remains lit at max. value:
- Check the wiring of the 1-10V control lines for polarity or discon-
tinuity.
- Is the panic button pressed?
• The light switches on/off but remains lit at min. value:
- Check the wiring of the 1-10V control lines for polarity or short
circuit.
6. USAGE WARNINGS
- This appliance is not suitable for controlling motors.
- For the switching of heavy or high capacitive loads (e.g. ECG) always
use an external relay (when switching more than 140uF at fluorescent
lamps).
- The max. number of ECG to be dimmed is determined by the individual
consumption, expressed in mA, of each ECG (depends on manufacturer
and type). The 05-711 can handle up to 50mA. Thus, for example,
