Setting the clock

SYSTEM
SETUP
The clock uses a 12-hour indication.

Press (SYSTEM SETUP).
The system setup item appears on the main
unit.

Press M/m to select "CLOCK ADJ,"
then press (ENTER).
The hour indication flashes.

Press M/m to set the hour and minute.
To move the digital indication, press </,.

Press (ENTER).
The setting is complete.
To hide the system setup display, press
(SYSTEM SETUP).
To show the clock during playback, press
(DSPL) repeatedly until it appears.
With the main unit
Press (SETUP) instead of (SYSTEM SETUP), rotate
the control dial instead of pressing M/m, or press
(SEEK) +/– instead of </,, then press the control
dial instead of (ENTER).

Using Optional Equipment

Auxiliary equipment

You can connect auxiliary devices to the unit,
and listen on your car speakers. Up to 2 devices
can be connected, one to the AUX input jack
(stereo mini jack) on the front, and the other to
the BUS AUDIO IN/AUX AUDIO IN terminals*
on the rear. The volume level is adjustable for
any difference between the unit and the auxiliary
device.
* Unavailable when another optional device is
connected to the BUS CONTROL IN terminal. To
connect both an auxiliary device and optional
device, use the optional AUX-IN selector.
Connecting an auxiliary device
1 Turn off the auxiliary device.
2 Turn down the volume on the unit.
3 Connect to the unit.
On the front:
Connect to the AUX input jack.
* Be sure to use a straight type plug.
