Installing the electrical kit
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. If necessary, remove the following coverings and panels:
•
In the luggage trunk
Covering of luggage trunk bottom

Loading edge covering
-
Covering of the right side of the luggage trunk
-
Covering of the left side of the luggage trunk if necessary
-
Remove the tail light on the left and on the right side

3. Drill a hole of 19 mm for the cable leadthrough (Fig. 1/3) through the rear end plate centrically
in a suitable flat place.
4. Starting in the luggage trunk, lead the socket end of the cable through the cable leadthrough
(Fig. 1/3) to the outside to the socket holder plate (Fig. 1/4).
5. Fit the rubber grommet and insert it into the cable leadthrough (Fig. 1/3).
Installing the socket
6. Fit the socket gasket and connect the cable harness to the socket housing in accordance with
the pin assignment plan (Fig. 1/4) and push the rubber grommet against the socket.
7. Screw the socket onto the holding plate (Fig. 1/4) using the supplied screws and nuts.
8. Secure the cable harness using cable ties.
