8. Operating the system
Perform washing until the main tank on the er WAMAB
is full, but only up to the max. mark on the fill level pipe
at the most.
8.1. Normal operation
Open the cover and allow it to latch into the first position
(fig. 1).
Fill the separation system by pressing and holding down
the button (fig. 2), but only up to the top mark on the fil-
ler neck at the most (fig. 3).
Turn the pointer on the ball valve to position 2 (fig.4).
Set the timer to 20 min (fig.5).
The pump now starts to agitate the wastewater. Open
the lid up to the second latching position. Fill the mea-
suring cup with separating agent as shown in the table of
volumes.
Shake the separating agent onto the surface of the water
in the free space to the left of the piping, taking care to
distribute it finely (fig.6).
After about 15 min. take a water sample from the reac-
tion container with a clean glass and check the reaction
results (fig.7).
If the water is clear (fig.8), close the lid up to latching
point 1 and set the timer to 20 minutes again. If the
water is still cloudy, add more separating agent (see item
8.1.1.).
Then turn the pointer on the ball valve to pos. 5 (fig.9).
The filtration process now occurs (fig.10).
