6. Process description (with STORCH WAMAB)
The wastewater that occurs flows from the wash area (1) to the first sedimentation container on the "WAMAB" (2).
Then to the second, etc. When all four sedimentation containers are filled, the overflow water flows into the main con-
tainer (3). From there is it pumped by the feed pump (4), after starting the system, to the reaction container (5) of the
separation system. From there, the water is stirred by the agitator pump (6) and STORCH separating agent is admixed
(7). Admixing and the reaction of the separating agent causes the contaminants to flocculate. After the agitation pro-
cess has been completed, the water is visually checked and the filtration process is started. The water – flake mix (8) is
filtered via a filter trainer with filter cloth (9). The filtered and legally-compliant treated water now flows from the filter
strainer holder (10) into the grey water drains (11).

7. Commissioning
First remove the transport locks on the pump (4 polystyrene blocks). Plug the power plug into safe 230 V / 50 Hz
socket with a fuse of max. 16 A. The socket must be protected on site with a 2-pin residual current circuit breaker with
a trip current of 30mA.
Lay a filter bag in the filter strainer as illustrated and fold the protruding edge back. Use the lateral fixing clamps for
disposable filters to secure this edge on the long side. After preparing the strainer, insert it with the overflow facing
left into the filter strainer holder.
