Pump connection (optional)

Heating zone 1 (HZ1) can alternatively be used for controlling a recirculation pump. For this, the pump
must be wired as follows, and the parameter P025 in menu UnP1 (see section 8: Configu ation) must
be changed.
For the use of heating zone 1 (HZ1) as as pump control, a room control unit must be logged on to
that heating zone fi st (see section 7.1). After the conversion of parameter P025, the room control
unit is uncoupled automatically and is available for teaching-in to other heating zones.

6.4.1 Activation/deactivation of the pump control

The connection terminal (F) can be used for the control of a recirculation pump. For this, set the heat-ing

zone to pump control directly at the device as follows:

1. Press the Select key (B) of the Altech V3IP base station until the LED of heating zone 1 flashes in green:

2. Toggling the pump from active to inactive or vice versa: Press and hold the Select key (B). Leaving
the menu without changes: Press the Select key shortly.
7 Commissioning
For the commissioning of the Altech V3 IP base station, at least one Altech V3 IP room control unit
Display, Display S or Analog must be taught-in to the base station. As an alternative, the base station
can be integrated to the Altech V3 IP Access Point via the app into the Altech V3 IP system. If used
without Access Point, the base station must be configured via the Altech V3IP room control unit Display.
1. Establish the electrical supply of the Altech V3 IP base station.
9 All heating zones of the base station are activated for 10 minutes in order to unlock the first-open
function of connected actuators.
