1. All our covers are manufactured of thermal coated aluminium profile. They are covered in polycarbonate to give double-sided UV
protection. Thank you for carefully following the cleaning and maintenance instructions for each of the components.
ALUMINIUM: to clean the aluminium parts, you can use a generic aluminium cleanser. Apply it with a cotton rag. TAKE CARE that the
cleanser does not come into direct contact with the plastic components on the cover.
POLYCARBONATE: To clean the polycarbonate, it is recommended to use a neutral soap (such as bath gel) mixed with water. Apply it with a
soft sponge and wipe VERY GENTLY, as this surface scratches easily. If the dirt is resistant in some areas, you can use isopropyl alcohol diluted
to 50% with water. For ordinary cleaning, use a hose pipe with no pressure. Do not use a pressure washer on any plastic.
2. Clean the cover all over every 6 months using a stream of cold water (never use a pressure washer)
3. Lubricate the locks and locking systems of the cover regularly (at least every three months).
4. Never use abrasive chemical products that could damage the materials.
5. When you cover a pool, this prevents dirt from getting in as easily. You therefore need to use fewer chemical products for cleaning and
upkeep. However, to prevent green algae from building up under the cover, we recommend that you spray the under side and covered
edges of the pool with anti-algae spray.
6. The water in your swimming pool should be treated with the cover open, so that the cover is ventilated and is not harmed by chemical
products evaporating. Pay very close attention to the products used; they can contain a very strong concentration of acid by-products or
corrosive alkalis, which could cause the cover to rust more quickly.
