To switch on:
Press the ON/OFF switch
To switch off:
Release the ON/OFF switch
6.2 Locking button (Fig. 1/Item 2)
You can lock the ON/OFF switch (1) using the locking
button (2) when the equipment is in operation. To
switch off the equipment briefly hold down the
ON/OFF switch (1).
6.3 Function switch (Fig. 4-6/Item 7)
Important. Activate the function switch (7) only
when the equipment is at a standstill.
You can move the soleplate (5) to 4 different settings
to work better in hard-to-reach areas.
To move the soleplate (5), set the function switch (7)
to position A (see Figure 4).
To lock the soleplate (5) in place, set the function
switch (7) to position B (see Figure 5). The soleplate
(5) can be locked in only four positions (at 90°, 180°,
270° and 360°). Now check that the soleplate (5) is
secure by turning it.
The pendulum action is activated in position C (see
Figure 6). The saw balde will then move forwards and
backwards in addition to its up and down movements.
This will improve the sawing performance through
better chip discharge. In this position the soleplate (5)
is always locked.
Important. To switch the function switch (7) to
position C, the soleplate (5) must be set to 180° or
360°.
