Electrical connection for the
TN-3 – 230 V ~ fan
Power supply
230 V ~, 50 Hz
Power consumption
0.5 A
Subject to technical changes.
The electrical connection must always be made by
an expert (in accordance with VDE 0100, Part 721 or
IEC 60364-7-721 in Germany). These instructions are intended
only as additional information for a qualified electrician; elec-
trical work should not be carried out by unqualified persons.
Connection to the mains is made using a suitable cable
3 x 1.5 mm² connected to a distribution box.
Observe the correct cable colours when making connections.
An insulating appliance for providing all-pole insulation
from the mains with contact clearance of at least 3.5 mm
must be provided at the vehicle side for carrying out mainte-
nance and repair work.
Fig. D
Connect the mains cable (21). Fit the insulation casing of the
cable into the strain relief (20). Secure the strain relief with a
screw (23 – 3.5 x 19 mm).
Push the connector of the control panel cable into the multi-pin
connector (18) as far as it will go. Fit the insulation casing of
the cable into the strain relief (20). Secure the strain relief with
a screw (23 – 3.5 x 19 mm).

Insert the cable into the recess (22) and fit the terminal box
cover (19) with a screw (23 – 3.5 x 19 mm).
When screwing on the terminal box cover (19), please
ensure that the cable does not become caught between
the cover and the housing, otherwise there is a risk of a short
circuit.

Warm air distribution

The warm air system is designed individually for each vehicle
type using the modular design principle. A wide range of ac-
cessories is available for this purpose.
The warm air connectors (24) are designed for the Truma
65 mm-diameter air duct. To keep them in place a clip (26) is
fitted on each connector (only for the 65 mm-diameter air duct).
Push the air ducts firmly into the warm air connectors and,
as required, secure with two 2.9 mm diameter self-tapping
screws (not supplied).
If the air ducts are of different lengths or at sides with greater
heating requirements, the Ø 72 mm air duct must be used.
This allows the full air capacity to be used at this side.
When using the 72 mm-diameter air duct, a BGC elbow must
be fitted into the corresponding connector of the warm air
distributor. Push the BGC elbow into the connector as far as
it will go. The elbow can be secured with a 2.9 mm-diameter
self-tapping screw (not supplied) if required.
