Installation of external control panel

Install control panel (9) in a location that is protected from
direct heat radiation, moisture and humidity. Length of the
connector cable (10) 1.5 m or 2.5 m.
If the control panel cannot be flush-mounted, Truma can pro-
vide an on-surface frame (11 – part no. 40000-52600) as an
accessory upon request.
Drill hole with diameter of 55 mm. Guide through the control
panel cable towards the rear and secure the control panel (9)
with 4 screws (12). Then clip on the cover frame (13) and
route cable up to the fan.
The cable must not rest against the heater, on the fan or the
warm air duct. Fasten the cable down fully.
Installation of the integrated control panel
(only for the TEB-3 fan)
The installation of the integrated control panel is described in
the installation instructions for the heater in question. A copy
of the installation instructions may be requested from Truma
if required.
The cable between the fan and the integrated control
panel is made from heat-proof silicon and may rest
against the fan and the installation box.

Fit the connector of the control panel cable (18). Connect the ap-
pliance to the safe main power supply with cable 2 x 1.5 mm
Connect negative line to main ground connection. If connecting
directly to the battery, a 5 A automotive flat fuse must be fitted to
the positive and negative cable, in proximity to each pole. Fit con-
nections with fully insulated flat connectors (negative 6.3 mm,
positive 6.3 mm).
Observe correct polarity, otherwise the control panel will
not function and the fan will run in the wrong direction.
When power packs or power supply units are being
used, note that the output voltage is between 11 V and
15 V and the alternating current ripple is < 1.2 Vpp.
