your work.

make sure that all moving parts have come to a com-

Disposal
Disposal notes are based on the icons placed on the
machine or on its package.
Any damaged or disposed devices must
be delivered to appropriate collection
centres.
Batteries, oil, and similar substances must
not enter the environment.
Dispose of the batteries in an environmentally
friendly manner.
Batteries are subject to the special disposal obliga-
tion. Have any defective batteries disposed of by
a specialised shop. The battery must be taken out
before the appliance is scrapped. Damaged batteries
may harm the environment and your health if toxic
vapours or liquids leak out of such batteries.
Therefore, never send a defective battery by post, etc.
Please contact your local recycling centre.
Transport packaging disposal
The packaging protects the machine against damage
during transport. Packaging materials are usually
chosen based on environment aspects and waste
treatment principles and are therefore recyclable. Re-
turning the packaging into material circulation saves
raw materials and reduces waste production. Parts of
packagings (e.g. foils, styropor®) can be dangerous
for children.
Risk of suffocation!
Keep parts of the packagings out of reach of children
and dispose them as soon as possible.
Maintenance
Rotating blade
Switch the engine off and remove the socket
plug before any work on the engine. Wait
until all rotating parts have stopped and
the appliance has cooled down.
Keep the appliance, especially the tank and engine,
clean at all times. Clean the ejection opening and
cover at regular intervals.
Apply environment-friendly oil to all moving parts.
Check the collection bag at regular intervals for any
wear and aging.
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
Use only original accessories and original spare parts.
Only a regularly maintained and treated appliance
can serve as a satisfactory aid. Insufficient mainte-
nance and care can lead to unforeseen accidents and
injuries.
If the fuel tank has to be drained, this should be done
outdoors.
At the end of the season it is necessary to add an
additive to the fuel/propellant and mix it with the
fuel.
