4.1.3 SEEDER HOOKING TO THE EQUIPMENT
Hooking up the seeder to the equipment is a very dangerous
phase. Be very careful in following the instructions for the
whole operation.
The operation must be carried out on a horizontal plane, with the
seeder resting on its parking feet.
1) Hook the rotating harrow to the tractor according to the directions
of the manifacturer ¿ rm.
2) Replace the snap pins and release the safety pins (E1, Fig.
14).
3) With the tractor come closer the seeder and, by operating on the
lifter, hook the equipment in the suitable points (F, Fig. 15).
Check, that there aren't or can't be interferences among
the mechanical members of the two machines. Especially
check the area between the hind roller and the coulter arms
(Fig. 16).
ATTENTION
Do not lift the equipment all the way up, because this may
cause the seeder to tip over.
4) Replacing the safety pins with the suitable locking pins (E2,
Fig. 17).
