Preparations before using for the first time
Check to make sure the appliance is undamaged. In case of any damage, contact your supplier
immediately and do NOT use the appliance.
Remove all the packing material and protection film (if applicable).
Clean the appliance with luke-warm water and a soft cloth.
Place the appliance on a level and steady surface, unless mentioned otherwise.
Make sure there is enough clearance around the appliance for ventilation purposes.
Position the appliance in such a way that the plug is accessible at all times.
Usage
Insert the plug in the wall socket. If done properly the green indicator should illuminate.
Switch on the appliance by rotating the switch clockwise. When the appliance has reached the
desired result it is ready to be used.
Once you have reached the required result, you can switch off the appliance by rotating the switch
counter-clockwise until it points upwards.
If you do not use the appliance for an extended period, remove the plug from the main socket.
ATTENTION! Allow the appliance to cool off before you touch it. The baking plate is very hot after
use.
Cleaning and maintenance
Always remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance.
Beware: Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid!
Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth (water with mild detergent).
Clean the ventilation slots (if applicable) with the vacuum cleaner.
You are allowed to clean the plate with a scourer and detergent.
Clean the baking plate every time after you use it to prevent any residues from burning onto the
baking plate.
